Tolerance is the virtue of hypocrites (Gracian).'

Don Hubert Contemplates Sweet Things (from FRA)

With cakes and girls, who can remember names,
though no less sweet in memory? Old flames
and fluffy buns still linger on the tip
of the tongue. So, lovers of them can trip-
off daisy-chains of delicacies once known,
picked from the meadow of joy, always new mown:

Lily, Mimosa, Fleur, Flo, Violet, Rose,
Myrtle, Madeleine, Bakewell Tart with Clove,
Veronica, Millefeuille, Éclair, Meringue,
Pavilova, Profiteroles and Frangipane.
Any order you choose on shelf or bower.
All come when called by root names – flour or flower.
